Basic necessities
We provide food, clothing, and everyday essentials to people who are going without — meeting the immediate, practical needs first.
We put essentials in the hands of neighbors who need them, show up when hardship hits, and raise funds to support cancer and genetic disease research — one small, steady act at a time.
Founded and run by young people who believe change starts close to home.
Our work is simple and hands-on: meet real needs today, stand with families through the hard seasons, and invest in the science that gives people more tomorrows.
We provide food, clothing, and everyday essentials to people who are going without — meeting the immediate, practical needs first.
When emergencies and hard times arrive, we mobilize to serve our community — organizing help, resources, and hands where they're needed most.
We raise money to support ongoing cancer and genetic disease research, backing the work that changes what these diagnoses mean for families.
Faith in Humanity exists to make sure basic dignity isn't a luxury. We provide necessities to people who are underprivileged, and we stay present through the adversities that families face.
At the same time, we look ahead: raising funds for cancer and genetic disease research so that compassion today builds toward cures tomorrow. It's a young organization, but the conviction behind it is steady — small acts, done faithfully, add up to real change.
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
— the belief this organization was built on
Ruhika was born and raised in the Bay Area and is currently a high schooler with her sights set on a research career in health science — cancer research in particular.
Guided by a belief that no act of kindness is too small, she founded Faith in Humanity together with her family. Her vision is to provide basic necessities to the underprivileged, to be actively involved in serving the community during hard times, and to raise funds that support cancer and other genetic disease research.
Outside the organization she's a competitive dancer who loves to cook, bake, and take on creative projects — passions she folds back into fundraising and finding new ways to help.
Whether you can give an hour, a dollar, or a connection, it moves this work forward. Here's where to start.
Your gift buys essentials for neighbors in need and fuels the research fund. Every contribution goes further than you'd think.
